What To Expect At The New Jersey Center Of CoolSculpting®
"The treatment itself was not uncomfortable. Afterwords, I felt great. I didn't really notice anything for about 30 days. After day 30 until about a month later, I started noticing that my favorite jeans were not as tight anymore. I wasn't having to suck in to get them buttoned. And by that two month period after my CoolSculpting® procedure, I was back in my favorite pants and they felt great!"
"It's subtle at first, and then a month later you look and go, "Wow - It really did something!" It really moved the bar for me, and I'm feeling better about myself already. It feels so good to put on anything and know I look as good as I've ever looked. And I didn't say that or feel that when I was in my 20's, 30's, and 40's."

NJ CoolSculpting® : Frequently Asked Questions
It's an innovative new way to freeze unwanted fat cells, which your body naturally digests. There's no surgery or downtime and the procedure is a pain-free alternative to liposuction.
If you have unwanted or "stubborn" fat in targeted areas such as the chin, the arms, the belly, or the bra area, you are a good candidate.
Once the frozen fat cells are naturally eliminated by your body, they're gone for good!
CoolSculpting® is FDA-cleared for the treatment of visible fat bulges in various regions of the body. When the procedure starts, you'll feel an intense chilling of the area being targeted, and that are will typically go number within a few minutes. Aside from the cold, you'll feel some pulling as the skin is suctioned agains the machine. Feel free to read, use your phone, or even take a nap during the treatment.
CoolSculpting® and SculpSure are both approved by the FDA, but CoolSculpting® is currently approved to treat more body areas. It's also the only FDA-approved, non-invasive fat reduction procedure for the chin, making it a great choice for facial contouring.
CoolSculpting® is the only FDA approved treatment that permanently kills the fat cells by freezing them to the point where they die and are excreted from the body. Zerona uses cold laser to disrupt fat cells, meaning the inside of the fat cells leaks out, but the fat cells actually remain alive can grow back if you're dieting/exercising.
They both remove targeted fat permanently. Liposuction is a surgical procedure, however, that requires sedation or anesthesia whereas CoolSculpting® is a non-invasive procedure that does not require anesthesia or sedation. Liposuction can be used to remove larger quantities of fat (up to about 11 pounds) whereas CoolSculpting® is a safer option for those looking to remove smaller areas of "stubborn" fat.
CoolSculpting® usually costs about $700 per area and most people treat two more more areas per session.
Every body type is different and CoolSculpting® is effective for reducing 20%-25% of fat per treatment. Some people only need one session or one treatment on a particular body type whereas other may require multiple treatments until the desired effects are achieved.
CoolSculpting ® is not an effective treatment for cellulite as cellulite happens at the skin level where as Coolsculpting addresses deeper fat below the skin.
It's non-invasive, so it does not leave scars. The process does use suction, however, so you may see a ring around the area for a brief period after the treatment is finished.
You should consult your doctor but in general, it should be avoided by pregnant women, women trying to conceive, and women who are breast-feeding.
